This is the continuation of a mysterious journey leading to uncharted regions of our inner topography where “within” and “without” cease to be meaningful notions, and Reality and the boundless Consciousness creating and maintaining it every second are surprisingly close!
This journey is a research that we, the initiators, undertake TOGETHER with you, the Island’s visitors. We all become SILENAUTS united in the space “beyond words”, where all things lose their names and emerge in front of us just as they used to be in our childhood – fresh and pure, full of primordial meaning.
“The island of the silenauts” is a sensory space-Labyrinth, created by Sensory Theatre Sofia especially for this year’s edition of Beglika Fest. Inspired by the magical nature of the Rhodopi mountains and Golyam Beglik reservoir, the silenauts from the Institute for Silence Research invite you on a magical journey under the mantle of familiar reality… A journey that will broaden your sensory boundaries and give you new opportunities to relate to Yourself, the Other and the Universe.
“The island of silenauts” will be open to visitors of Beglika Fest 2016 on August 25-27 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Those who are ready to cross over to “the other side“ and embark on a magical journey round the Island should know and observe the following instructions:
– The silenauts research Silence quite literally, so it is necessary to leave the words behind when you reach the Island… “NO TALKING” is not optional, but OBLIGATORY!
– “The island of silenauts” is a gateway to the other dimension of reality which is slower, deeper and finer. That is why it is not possible to pass through it “for a short time” on the way to some other place. The minimum stay on the Island is at least an hour. You enter only after a several minute stop at an interim space controlled by a timekeeper – the Keeper of the Gate.
- Actually anyone who is willing can become a researcher of Silence. What is necessary is to give up your usual (verbal) way of communication and look with exploring eyes into the space around and within.
Bon Voyage, silenauts!
