For the first time in Bulgaria, the world-renowned human specific performance THE VENUS LABYRINTH will be staged. This is not a performance you observe. It is an encounter you remember.
The VENUS LABYRINTH belongs to a new genre in Bulgaria—human specific performance—centering on the human experience, a story that recreates a fragment of someone’s life. At the center lies the authentic meeting between the women who inhabit the Labyrinth and the audience, who are also participants. Each person enters the Labyrinth alone, intuitively choosing 3 rooms where they will experience an unexpected encounter, become the confidant of a memory or dream—something perhaps secret and very personal. There are no instructions, just the immediate experience of the other, an encounter without expectations. Like seeing yourself reflected in another.
Each of the 28 rooms in the labyrinth is dedicated to a specific part of the brain, which is why the themes are universal, such as the ability to understand speech, hunger, touch, sexuality, sense of rhythm, balance, anger, and more.
We won’t reveal everything, to keep your curiosity alive, and we look forward to seeing you at Culture center KRASNO SELO together with the Oracle, who will guide you on your journey through the Labyrinth.
